Great service and quality roof company. They came out a year ago for a leak estimate and were the only company that told me the roof had two or three years of life left in the shingle. Everyone else tried to quote a replacement as well as the repair.I followed up with them when looking for a roof replacement this year and they were great to work with from start to finish.Reasonable price, great communication throughout the process and one day install on a townhouse. Ken and his team are great and I'd use them again for any of my roofing needs.

Ken gave us a very prompt and competitive quote for our roofing job. He worked with us and our insurance claim to address all areas of the claim. He stayed patient with us throughout the back and forth over email and phone to help us understand how the work would be done until we felt comfortable. The day of the job went smoothly. The guys showed up on time and finished the entire roof in a day. We got to see the before and after pics and it looks great. The guys also cleaned out the place thoroughly including doing a magnetic sweep of the place for nails etc. They even cleaned parts of our neighbors houses that had some debris fallen since we are in a townhouse. All in all we are very satisfied with the entire experience and are happy to have gone with a small local company.

When we found out that we may have to replace our roof, we wanted to make sure that we explored all options. After many searches and recommendations we decided to go with Ken (Improve Today Inc.). My first conversation with him had me convinced that he had integrity and he would stand by his work. His employees arrived 7:30am and our new roof was done by 3:00pm. Ken stopped by to see how the project was going and he sent us pictures of the roof during the various phases. I contracted with Ken (the owner) to fully replace my roof after receiving a detailed quote at a reasonable price. Ken has been extremely good at describing the issue, resolution, pros and cons of involving insurance. He kept me informed throughout the process and scheduled the replacement within 2 weeks. His team did fantastic work and were very polite and efficient. I'd highly recommend Ken and his team and will use them again when needed.

I received a total of 4 bids for roofing. By far, Ken and his son were the most professional and very reasonably priced. They arrived on time and sat down to discuss the scope of work. Within 30 minutes he provided me with an estimate. He was able to squeeze me in just before I left vacation, which was wonderful to be at ease before I leave town. His crew arrived on time to replace my roof. They finished in a day and cleaned up very well. My husband thinks our front yard looked better after they left. I highly recommend Ken and his crew for any roof replacement or repair needs.

Ken and his crew did a great job on our roof replacement. They made the whole process stress free and painless. Shingles got delivered a day before the roof was to be done and the crew delivering them was very courteous and rang the door bell to ask if we would be going out and needed to move the cars before they started off loading. The roofing crew arrived right at 8AM and got started working right away. We were so impressed by their hard work in 90 degree heat. They were considerate in making sure we could get in and out of the house during the work and that it was safe. They worked fast and did a great job. After finishing the roof they cleaned up all of the debris and swept both the front and the back of the house. We couldn't be any happier with the service and quality of work we received. We just wish they did other work too. Ken, the owner of the company is awesome. With 40 years experience in the roofing business he was very knowledgeable and patient when explaining the process and different options to me. We will definitely be referring him to family, friends and neighbors for their roofing needs.

Ken and his team were the best! I am beyond thrilled that I found this company. Ken came to my home almost immediately, provided an estimate along with pictures, had men at my house the next morning and completed the job along with repairing the damage that a prior roofing company had done. His team also showed pictures of the repairs that were done. All this plus my roof is really fixed and not leaking anymore!All companies should take a page out of Ken's book on how to run a successful business. Ken was great to work with. I reached out to have some items fixed/installed due to a pending sale of my home. I had to have an attic fan replaced and a shutter vent installed and connected. We spoke quite a bit about what I needed to have done and he was very informative and answered all of my questions at length. I needed everything done quickly and he was kind enough to squeeze me in between jobs. Once the job was complete, I decided to add a few more shutter vents and he agreed to take on the small job. You would be surprised as to how many companies don't want to touch smaller projects. I had to wait a couple of days but he was able to squeeze me in again. His crew was professional and considerate. I had new carpet installed in my home and they removed their shoes when going up the stairs to the attic - the little things count a lot in my book too. I would highly recommend their work. Ken personally followed up with me at the completion of the project to make sure I was happy with everything - which I was. Their work was excellent, the pricing was excellent and Ken is very honest. They take on big and small jobs alike. Ken really wants to make sure that customers are satisfied so that leads to good experiences.

There are not enough stars in the world to rate the owner, Ken and his customer service. In a world where everything is automated, Ken makes you feel like you are the most important customer he has. He not only was the one to answer the phone when I called, but he came out and looked personally at my situation. I had to get emergency roof repair done on my rental unit and I spoke directly to Ken from his company’s phone number after calling a few other local businesses. He took down the address and sent me estimate with pictures the next day. He completed the work the same week and sent me repair pictures and the final invoice via email. I was able to coordinate everything remotely because of Ken’s amazing customer service and communication skills. He rescued me from a huge headache and saved me a lot of time and money. Early this year, Ken helped us attach a ventilation cap that came off our roof due to strong winds. Small as the fix was, Ken and his crew rendered great customer service within hours of our phone call. Recently when we wanted to have the roof replaced, we went ahead calling Ken again without a second thought. From initial project planning to new materials loading then to the actual carrying out the work, at every phase of the project, we were amazed at how efficient and detail-oriented Ken and his crew were. Replacing roof is a big project and it can get overwhelming and tend to take long. There are many things you wanted to get them right and on time, and Ken can provide exactly that! I rarely write reviews but I could not let this opportunity to praise pass. It is rare when professionalism, service and response time all converge in one company. My call was answered by the owner who stated the process, set a timeline for service and met or exceeded every deadline. The team he sent to do the work came on time, were polite, worked efficiently and took pictures so I would see what was done.As importantly, when I was concerned that it was more than a repair and may require that I replace the whole roof (I have a big roof). the owner was happy for me that the repair would be sufficient. Who's like that??This man and his company, take real pride in what they do and what they offer. I only wish they offered other services. I plan to recommend them to anyone who will listen.

He has done work for us in the past and as part of his customer service he did the inspection and repair for no charge. We have always been impressed with them and their work ethics, quality of work, and honesty. I would never go with any other vendor for roof repair.

his was the most easy and pain free home repair ever! I called Ken about a leak in my roof, he was there the next day assessing what was wrong. He was thorough and explained what was wrong and how he would fix it. The next day he came and fixed it, it was done in one day! We hired this company about 2 years ago to replace a fascia board - and received excellent communication, timely service, and fair pricing. When we discovered a separate roof problem this month - we knew just who to call. The owner, Ken, responded very quickly to my request for quote, and came out the next business day for the inspection/estimate. We rarely write reviews but after using Ken and his team to address two different roof repairs with superior results, we felt they deserve special acknowledgement. They have proven to be professional and responsive while doing high quality work using top of the line, modern materials. Ken is conscious of the customer and makes the process simple with no pressure. They know their business and their charges are very reasonable. In our first instance, Ken correctly identified the source of a persistent roof leak that had eluded other roofing companies. The fix went in quickly and the repair on a 15 year old roof was cleanly integrated. Just recently, we had Ken’s team repair shingles blow off part of the roof in a winter wind storm. The guys were ready to work in very cold temps and as soon as the wind speed dropped. Again, the team quickly completed a high quality job. Over the years, we have used other well-known roofers on this house but Ken and his team have stood out above all others in every aspect. The next time we have a need for a repair to the roof or a new roof, we will be calling Ken and his team with confidence that the job will get done right the first time.

After discovering a leak in our ceiling, coming from our roof, I immediately reached out to Ken based on his stellar reviews. That was at 6pm. Ken contacted me at 7pm the same day, was at my house the next morning at 8am for an assessment. Discovered a roof leak on 11 Feb 18 and after looking for a roofer I selected Contact Roof to come out and give me an estimate. I used Ken and his team for a repair of our roof several months ago and they were terrific. After this past wind storm in the No. VA area we had some significant damage to our roof and I knew who to call. As in the past, Ken returned our call as soon as possible and was at our house within half an hour to inspect. We decided to go with a new roof and he was able to fit us in within a week even though I knew they were swamped with calls, work, etc. due to the storm. Ken and his team did a superior job. The roof looks fantastic. They completed the job by early afternoon and left the yard, landscaping, etc. spotless. We couldn't be more pleased!I highly recommended this roofing company the last time I used them, and I will continue to do so. They are wonderful!

Absolutely amazing and timely service!! We were in a bind with our house on the market, and with the roof needing repairs from the damage due to the recent storm. We called around, and most of the companies were too busy with prior work. But Ken returned my call immediately, came and looked at the roof, and gave a good timely estimate. The roof was repaired within two days. The work was done professionally meeting high standards. Also, we had worked with Ken in the past, about two years ago, when he did a great job as well. So, when we called back the second time around, he remembered us and went the extra mile to get the work done with the same high quality, satisfying our time contingency. Great service, showed up on time and had the job completed in less than an hour. You could hardly tell the even worked on the roof area. I would certainly use them again, hands down the best company for any type of roofing work. I called on a Friday afternoon after dealing with another company that showed up late and was not ready to get the job done. These guys showed up early to be honest with you and explain the job in detail and then completed it with no issue. I definitely understand why Ken and his business receive so many 5 star reviews.Last night I got a slightly panicked call from my wife while I was working, letting me know that a kitchen ceiling light fixture was leaking water all over the table below.My heart sank.We had been planning to have someone come out and take a look at our aging roof for sometime but I had never gotten around to it.I hurried home and fortunately the rain had stopped and the total amount of water that had made its way through wasn't that bad.With rain forecast all through the weekend though we immediately started making calls to find someone to help.Most of the highly rated companies couldn't see me until late next week at the earliest with repairs starting later still.Ken, the highest rated of the bunch some how managed to come out the very same day.We got a plan for short term repairs and a longer term plan to replace the roof.He was patient in explaining what went into the estimates and the quoted prices seemed very fair to me.Best of all he managed to get the repairs done the same day as well.We are quite thankful for the extra effort on his part and the piece of mind it brings us knowing their will be no more leaks with the coming storms this weekend.Thanks again Ken!

He was even kind enough to come back a second time and fix new damage and replace my shutter vent free of cost! I feel blessed to have found Ken Briesemeister at Improve Today Inc. The services I received from Ken and his team exceeded all my expectations. We recently had 70+ mph sustained winds in our area and, like others in the region, many of my roof shingles tore and blew off and required replacement. Upon finding and calling Ken, he was out the next day, before noon (on a Saturday!) and provided me a comprehensive quote the very next day. I had contacted other companies who appeared to be only interested in customers that would pay their inflated “storm chaser” rates due to the high demand and found that this was the only company who remained ethical and consistently responsive throughout the entire process. Not only did Ken deliver with quality service, he was polite and priced reasonably even though he was backed up due to the aforementioned storms. A few weeks following the new install, I noticed certain areas where the shingles were not laying flat. Ken came out and looked at our roof and told me that he was not happy with the way the roof turned out. Instead of repairing the areas that were not laying flat, he told me that he was going to redo my roof and upgrade from standard 3 tab shingles to and upgraded architectural shingle for my troubles. Not only did he stand by his craftsmanship, he upgraded us to higher quality product to show how much he values customer service and standing by his commitment to complete the job properly.In my previous experience, many companies would have taken the easy way out and just repaired or patched the problem shingles but he came out with his full team, ripped up all the shingles, the flashing, the ice/water shield, etc. and started from scratch. This cost his team time and resources to assure the job was done right; no cutting corners here! Ken and his team exceeded our expectations and went that extra mile to make sure that our roof looked perfect. I highly recommend and respect this company. The work ethic, honesty, and integrity this company displayed is priceless and rare in this day and age of making the fast dollar. Thank you again, Ken and team, for going over and above and ensuring that we are happy with our purchase and received what we paid for. You are a true gentleman and a master of your craft.

A few of our neighbors told us about Ken when we lost some shingles off our roof. I knew from the first time I spoke with him on the phone that he would be the right person for the job. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He came the next day to look at the roof, discuss the replacement, and provide the quote (which was very reasonable by the way). On the day our insurance adjuster came (at 7 AM I must add), Ken was here too. His crew was meticulous, professional, and hardworking. I would not hesitate one bit to recommend Ken to anyone!

There is a reason Ken gets all of the 5 star reviews. There is no trick. It's just that he does such an amazing job personally taking care of you that you are absolutely astounded that such customer service still exists in current day and age. I had a roof replaced on my townhouse. Ken's quote was the lowest, while execution was at the highest level. Perfect communication. Perfect roofing. Perfect cleanup. Amazing! My neighbors have had their roofs replaced by some of the bigger guys, and the difference is obvious to the naked eye. Add to all this the fact that Ken responds to your emails and calls personally. There is no call tree or a chain of "secretaries" to get you to the right person. I 100% agree with other reviews on here. Just call Ken and don't bother with the others. You will be glad you did. It's just a job for the bigger guys, it's a personal passion for Ken.

After significant research and following up with various roofers, it was very clear to me that Ken was the roofer we should contact. He not only has consistent 5 star reviews, but also “Best of the Best” National Award Winner. The moment we talked with Ken and received his estimate, we knew he was honest and deeply cared about doing quality work. I wish I could share with you what the other fairly highly reviewed roofers suggested- unnecessary work that would not have dealt most directly with our leak issues. Ken took the time to explain detail by detail how the roofers would set up, he explained the work that would be done and what materials they would use. He answered my questions along the way (sometimes at 8:00 pm just to be sure he got back to me in a timely manner), and when finished, he detailed what he ran across that we should deal with in the future, but was unnecessary right now. They did a fantastic job on the roof and in the clean up afterwards.Ken was wonderful to my mother who insists English is not her first language. When she asked him for advice about other roof issues, he was respectful and helpful. He then followed up with me to make sure he was being helpful to her. Great integrity.Ken provides consistent work to his roofers which is a good way to keep the same quality roofers on his team. He was highly responsive, provided top quality work, and at a fair price. After much research and several bids it was clear that Ken was the go to guy for roofing in Northern, VA. Ken responded quickly to my inquiry and provided me with an estimate in less than 24 hours. Working with Ken from the start to finish was a breeze and a joy! The working crew finished the job well and they were friendly and courteous as well. They picked up all the debris once they were done and even with the ones that fell on my deck. I am impressed with the work and the price that Ken offered. He also answered all my questions throughout and how the upgraded features will make my roof ventilation to be more effective than my old set up. I would refer Ken and his crew to any of my families and friends!

I am totally impressed with all the members of this roofing company. First of all communication with the office from the start to finish was courteous and efficient. Every step of the process was explained and very detailed estimates were provided before we agreed to proceed. At first we didn't sign the contract and decided to work through our home insurance, which took considerable time. Company owner never questioned our decision and expressed complete understanding of our circumstances.When we came back to Ken second time, to our pleasant surprise he agreed to proceed without changing anything in original contract. Moreover, the timeline of the project was scheduled within 2 weeks! Everyone in the company starting from owner, supervisors to the work crew were equally professional, courteous and efficient. The thorough cleaning of my deck, lawn, porch and driveway was done after end of the job. I am very happy with completion of the project. Certainly highly recommend this contractor to anyone for roof repair/replacement. 5 stars!!!

Bottom Line Up Front: I am very happy with my new roof as well as the process and the price.Consulting: Ken did a great job walking me through the process before I even hired him for the job. He gave me a good assessment of the situation and what I appreciated most was that he was genuine on what option there were and how much they would cost. Anytime I had a question, Ken took the time, usually called me back (he's busy), and gave me all the information I needed. on top of replacing he shingles, I had also asked for options of improving ventilation and replacement of some of the wood beneath the shingles. Great consulting!!!Performance: flawless. The roof looks great, the crew cleaned up well after, and pre-existing issues under the shingles (plywood, 2x4's, etc.) have all been fixed.Price: absolutely fair. I had asked Ken for a worst case estimate since some of the plywood and some of the 2x4's beneath the shingles also needed replacement, but it was hard to estimate how many. The final price was better than the pessimistic estimate and certainly lower than most of the other competitors I had reached out to for estimates. I got a good roof for a fair price, no doubt about it.I chose this company for three reasons: the impression I got after speaking with Ken (genuine, professional, knows what he's talking about), reasonable price, and reviews I found. I'm happy to say that my experience is 100% in line with all the positive reviews that convinced me to put Ken and his team on my shortlist to begin with.I strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof.

Improve Today Inc did an awesome job with my project. Ken spent a lot of time looking at my house and some problems I was having due to the improper installation of my existing roof. Ken's team did a fast and quality job with my new roof and I couldn't be happier. Ken came by during the installation to check on everything and provided me with pictures of where there was damaged wood. I recommend Improve Today Inc to anyone! Ken delivers quality results with superior customer service. I live across the country from my property so Ken went above and beyond in helping me coordinate with my insurance company, property manager, HOA, and tenants. He sent me before, during, and after pictures as promised. The work was done quickly and efficiently in the time frame agreed upon. I would recommend again and again. This man delivers, has integrity, and his estimates are beyond reasonable. If you do your due diligence, you will come to the same conclusion that I did. I can't recommend Roof dot net enough! Ken B (no relation), saved the contract on my house after I discovered a roof leak less than 24 hours before my home inspection. He went out of his way to turn a nightmare scenario into a good situation and he didn't even get paid for it because he had to get me in touch with another roof company. Ken followed through on getting my invoice from the other roofer so I could provide it to my buyers.This is not the first time Ken has come through strong. Back in 2015 after some really nasty storms we discovered a roof leak coming from our dryer vent. Ken came out right away, diagnosed the problem, provided neat and tidy documentation, and then setup an appointment to repair the roof. Unfortunately there was some miscommunication and the job didn't get done on time, but that was because so many people needed roof repairs during that time. When I let Ken know about this he immediately credited me $200 for the work and got someone out right away. Ken then provided detailed pictures and explanation of the work that was performed.I can't say enough good things about Ken and the work he does. He truly is one of, if not the best roofers in the business. I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you Ken!!!

EXCELLENT! First I need to start by letting you know that I don't write a lot of reviews. I admit that I'm particular and if my experience wasn't top notch I'm not going to waste my time writing it down. That being said, this review is well worth my time and well deserved. Ken was absolutely great to work with, accommodating and quick to respond, even when his personal time was involved. His quote was very competitive and when there were a couple extra things to take care of, Ken did, no questions asked. The crew was exceptional. Started early and had the job completed well with in one day and the roof looks great. They covered everything and kept my yard clear of debris as much as humanly possible. Clean up was done and it was as if they were never there. I would highly recommend Ken and his company to anyone looking to have their roof replaced. You will not be disappointed. THANK YOU, Ken!

I was treated with the utmost of respect and dignity - a company with integrity and ethics! Just what I needed as I was not knowledgeable about roofing except I had been told that I needed to replace the existing one in short order because I was selling the house. Unfortunately this organization could not help me because they are not licensed in Maryland; however, without hesitation they connected me to someone who could provide the services in Maryland which was of tremendous value to me. If I lived in an area where they are licensed, I would not hesitate to engage them to complete any task.

We had our new roof installed in February 2019 by Improve Today, Incorporated. Ken Briesemeister and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job! Ken took the time to explain the whole process in advance. As I was considering my options, I called with some questions. Ken answers his own phone, and he provides clear, straightforward answers to every question. I felt confident Ken would do a nice job, and his pricing was competitive, so I accepted his proposal and signed the contract. I am VERY glad I did. The work was completed in one day. Ken did our roof recently. Though he was the lowest bidder, the work was done well, there was no mess to clean up, and I came home from work to a great looking new roof. Ken is proud of his work, you get that from talking with him, which is one of the reasons we went with him.

Great Roofing Company! I got my Roof replaced on my Townhouse, April 29, 2019. I had an issues with my roofing and I found this company online with 5 stars and the reviews was very excellent so I gave it a try. I contacted Ken and he responded immediately, scheduled to come to my home for free estimate and quote. He was very knowledgeable, Professional, outstanding customer services, cool, and down on earth. I paid part of it and waited for my insurance to release the remaining fund. Everything was outstanding. When I began to look for a roofing contractor, I got a total of five estimates and took my time carefully going through all of the details I could. I was afraid I would miss something and end up regretting whatever I chose. I chose Ken’s company for many reasons. His estimate and one other were the lowest and about equal to each other however I believe the shingles and other things were superior in quality. I also felt very comfortable with his company based on the number of excellent reviews plus what I learned about his business philosophy and how that matched the reviews. He was also very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. He didn’t try to BS me and I thought he was honest and straightforward. This is the first time I’ve had a roof put on a house I own and it was a big financial decision. I feel like I made a great choice with Ken and his roofing crew and I got as much value for my money as possible. Even though everyone should get at least three estimates and then carefully look at each to make their own decision, I would definitely recommend this company be one of your choices for getting an estimate.

Ken and his crew replaced my roof a few days ago and I'm very satisfied with the end product. The new roof looks great, but it's the unmatched service, honesty, and personal attention Ken provides that really sets this company apart from all the others. From the moment I contacted Ken for an estimate to after the work was complete, Ken was quick to respond to any questions/concerns and provided a thorough estimate and overview of the work he would be doing. He showed up while the crew was replacing the roof and after the project was done to make sure I was satisfied with the work.I received six different estimates before finding Ken's company. For the same labor, materials, and warranty, Ken offered the best price. Plus, he was able to schedule a date for the work within a week from me signing the contract.If you're looking to get your roof repaired or replaced, there's really no other company you need to look into. I had to sit through six different roof presentations and inspections (which an estimate usually includes with most companies) before finding out about Ken's company. If you're a homeowner in need of a new roof, I really hope you read this review early in the shopping process so you don't waste time with other companies like I did!

Best roofing experience! Best customer service, quick to reply by phone, email and text. Ken came out to the home quickly and sent an estimate within half hour. I wish everyone that works on homes was like him. As a military family we couldn't ask for anyone better. No pressure along the way at all. Now we have a a worry free roof with Ken's warranty. No else could eat his pricing too. Would use him all over again! Thank toy, Ken!
