Roofs of houses, especially those in areas with extreme climate changes, often end up with leaks. The problem is only discovered by the home owner when the leak comes through the ceiling and ends up as a puddle of water on the floor. That’s when the problem has already gotten much worse.  Hence, regular roof inspections must be scheduled to avoid this. A basic rule of thumb to follow could be to set an inspection every 6-12 months. Preferably sooner than a year if you live in an area with weather such as we get in Fairfax City. Maintenance of your home is something you should never take for granted. Procrastination today could be the cause of a much bigger problem down the road than it originally was.
